G&A Moulding Technology
is an independent and impartial provider of high quality training
and consultancy services to the injection moulding and polymer
industry as well as Moldflow consultants.
Consultancy services and
training courses are delivered at the state of the art technical
centre in Peterborough, which is equipped with metrology and
measurement equipment as well as 100,000 clean room facilities, or
at customer premises worldwide.
Courses are mostly 70%
practical to ensure consolidation of knowledge and confidence in
its use. No more than three persons are allocated to one injection
moulding machine to ensure every participant has sufficient
practice of the set exercises.
G&A do not believe in
training for training's sake and try to ensure that all
participants have the required level of knowledge applicable to the
course they are undertaking. Training Needs Analysis can also be
undertaken for larger training projects or for individuals.
Apart from training,
G&A do extensive consultancy worldwide, all of which
contributes to the overall experience and content of the courses
delivered.
Process optimisation
courses are available which uses PRO-OPTM, G&A's
process optimisation software programme which has broken down the
injection moulding process into key components and critical process
parameters. These key components are on separate worksheets that
are completed by performing weight and product analysis. Completing
each worksheet in turn, results in an optimised process from the
ten different sets of experiments conducted. It can be used as
supporting evidence for validation or ISO compliance by
demonstrating the procedures and processes used.
