Revolutionising training in the process industries by building a coherent approach to skills training in our sector

Training providers can reap huge benefits from becoming part of the National Skills Academy for Process Industries' prestigious training network.

The network consists of a series of specialist training providers who have developed training provision in support of the services they provide to our industry. Through this network, employers are able to access their expertise whenever, and wherever they are based.

The Academy welcomes Expressions of Interest from publicly funded and private or commercial training providers. Our ultimate aim is to develop strong national and regional networks capable of meeting the full range of skills needs of the process industries, enabling employers to benchmark, train and accredit, and record the achievements of their staff against the relevant Gold Standard frameworks for their industry.

Relationship-based referral marketing for training providers

The Skills Academy works with training providers to ensure excellence in provision and offers them a direct route to market, providing them with opportunities to engage with employers seeking quality training or skills consultancy through an open and competitive referral process.

The business referral system is a web-based referral platform where employers' specific training and skills consultancy needs are identified, and Accredited Providers and Associates are encouraged to respond with an outline proposal. The Skills Academy then helps the employer select the solution that best meets their needs.

All Accredited Providers and Associates are invited to sign up to our Business Referral service.
