Heather is the Project Manager for the Tees Valley Apprenticeship Programme (TVAP), working closely with Adam Dixon, the Project Coordinator and Mark Snell, the Sector Specialist.

Heather joined the Skills Academy with a background in work based learning where she has worked as a Quality Systems Manager, supporting and developing a number of projects, raising standards across the delivery team, coordinating and carrying out training, coordinating audits and embedding the company's quality improvement strategy. During this time Heather gained experience in working and managing programmes including Apprenticeships, NVQs, schools and employment programmes across a multitude of sector areas. 

Heather works with employers and training providers with the aim of securing employment for Apprentices who have been made redundant or are at risk of redundancy in the Tees Valley.
