Accessibility statement
Our commitment to accessibility and inclusiveness
National Skills Academy Process Industries is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
We are continually working to improve the accessibility and usability of our website, services and tools in a way that offers conformance to web standards and support of assistive technologies.
Our current status
We endeavour to conform to level AAA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for everyone.
This site and its content have been built using code that is compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. The site displays correctly and has been tested in current browsers including Internet Explorer 6 and above, Firefox, Safari, Opera and Google Chrome.
Resizing text
You can resize the text on any of the pages using the text size settings in your web browser. This setting is usually found by going to 'View' on your browser's top menu, and then 'Text size' or 'Zoom' (note that the text varies between different browser software).
Internet Explorer for PC
From the top menu bar (just below the search panel) choose 'Page' and then 'Text Size'. For older versions of Internet Explorer, the same effect can be achieved by going to 'View' on the top menu and then 'Text Size'.
Firefox for PC
From the top menu bar choose 'View', and then 'Zoom'. For older versions of Firefox, increasing or decreasing text size is achieved by using 'View' and then 'Text Size'.
Exceptions
Whilst we always strive to conform to accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so for all areas of content — especially Flash based material.
